KADIMA (PRE-TEEN YOUTH GROUP)
Education & Youth
Kadima is the international youth organization for Jewish pre-teens. Sponsored by the United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism, Kadima offers programs through Adat Shalom Synagogue including:
- Games
- Sports
- Israel
- Arts & Crafts
- Conventions
- Holiday Celebrations
- Cultural Activities
- Social Action Projects
- Yad B’Yad Tzedakah Program (Tzedakah program that teaches Kadima members to be more aware and sensitive towards people who have learning disabilities or other special needs)
Like USY, Kadima at Adat Shalom combines social, religious and social action programs. Because Kadima nationally covers 6th through 8th grades, we invite our 8th graders to join all of our Kadima events in leadership roles. Two 8th graders will help with the Kadima advisory board, and will assist staff members with the planning of events. This year’s Kadima Retreat is set for December 9th & 10th at Camp Tamarack.
